Flag

The flag of Ecuador is a gorgeous flag. It has three horizontal stripes: one wide yellow stripe, a blue stripe, and a red stripe. In the middle of the flag is the coat of arms. It's much like the flag of Venezuela and Columbia.

Food

The food in Ecuador is delicious. They eat meals of chicken, pork, beef, corn and rice. They like to eat soups and stews. Another common food in Ecuador is seafood, like SHRIMP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Currency


Ecuador has the same currency as America, the U.S. dollar. It started using it as a way to try to get its economy going during an economic crisis in 2000.

The adoption of the U.S. dollar stabilized the economy.

Honduras's economy is very poor. It has an incredibly unequal distribution of wealth, and an unemployment rate as high as 27.8% in 2007. Their economy is extremly dependent on the United State of America (its largest trading partner). Its currency is the lempura, named after a native chief.
